STRATEGI GURU DALAM MEMBENTUK NILAI KARAKTER DISIPLIN PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS 3 DI SDN 005 KIAP JAYA KABUPATEN PELALAWAN

Abstract

One of the characters that can be applied is the character of discipline. This study aims to determine the teacher's strategy in forming disciplinary character values and the obstacles in forming disciplinary character values in grade 3 students at SDN 005 Kiap Jaya, Pelalawan Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data sources used were teachers and students and reinforced by journals and books related to this research. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used from Miles and Huberman are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study are the strategies applied by the teacher, namely 1) good discipline habits from teachers and students but have difficulty applying habits to male students due to lack of student awareness; 2) Incorporating it into intracurricular learning has been carried out but has obstacles, namely the comprehension power of students who are different ; 3) incorporate it into extracurriculars but have barriers to lack of awareness of students who are lacking; 4) and cooperate with parents but parents are still difficult to care about the character of this discipline.
